Current modular systems are invariably rigid and rectilinear in plan. Whilst logical and simple to arrange, the freedom to express a company message or ideal in a more creative manner is lacking. The system we propose allows for a large degree of flexibility in materials, plan and pavilion form. The company message can be conveyed to those visiting the exhibition in a variety of ways, and the pavilions themselves arranged in a manner well suited to the style of exhibition or its theme.

Timber, plastic, Perspex and a wide range of materials can be cut to form the standard 450mm panel used in constructing the pavilion. Individual panels are connected using a quick pin-connector detail. The detail allows for slight movement between panels allowing the formation of not only rectilinear but also curvilinear forms in plan. Various materials can be combined in a single pavilion wall to create various patterns representing the vision of an interior designer or the company logo.

Module size is an easily manageable 450mm. Average wall heights of around 3m will require approximately 4-5 panels arranged vertically. Additional panels may be added to or taken away from the wall height to create varying profiles. Extra wall-height at the opening of the pavilion may alsobe used to create a location for more visible signage.
