This is a stool using the surprisingly powerful paramagnetic and diamagnetic effects of a neodymium magnet.
The magnetic elements are arranged in order to bring about the levitation of the upper plate. The transparent polyester sheet keeps the separate plates in ‘contact’ with each other.

Through the use of modern technology this chair without a leg challenges the concept of seating as a fixed and rigid item.
